Road Map

Here is the official Bibites Dev Roadmap! You can see what glorious features we have cooked-up for future release. Show your support for specific features by voting for them. We will prioritize the favorites.

If you have been following the project for awhile, you may be expecting features to be listed in respect to their version of release (0.6, 0.7, Etc.). This is no longer how we organize our roadmap, instead, the features are listed in chronological order. The features at the top are closer to being worked on than the ones at the bottom. As priorities change, we will update the order.

Minor and Major features are listed separately. Minor features can be added quickly while Major features will take months. A new version release will typically consist of one to two Major features and a bunch of minor features sprinkled in. Minor feature implementation order is flexible and its more likely we can shift prioritization based on feedback.

Over the years, you all, the community, has provided us with a lot of stellar ideas. Ideas that have shaped the project into what it is today. Now that the community has grown so large, it is hard to keep track of all the suggestions and log them for future consideration. With all the various sources of feedback its overwhelming. So we are going to try and organize a little.

First off, Patreon’s can continue to post their feature suggestions and discuss them directly with us in the Patreon discord channel. We consider each Patreon suggestion with great weight as their support is the backbone of the project and we want to include their vision in the project.

Outside of the Patreon community, we recommend feature suggestions be posted to our Reddit community r/thebibites. Suggestions made on other platforms will be considered but they may slip through the cracks. All reddit posts with the Feature Suggestion tag will be checked regularly, each being considered for addition to the official roadmap.

Before adding a suggestion please triple check to make sure its not already on the roadmap or suggested by others. If you agree with a suggestion make sure to up vote the feature to make sure it rises to the top of the suggestions.
